The Necessity Of The Prenuptial Agreement

The Necessity Of The Prenuptial Agreement
By Shawn Mason
Nothing can kill romance faster than when couples mention the words prenuptial agreement. We hear it mentioned so very often among the rich and famous. In fact, how many people have signed prenups?
There has been an "explosion" of prenups in recent years. Law firms are estimating that about 10 percent of first marriages and 20 percent of second marriages now have a prenup attached. So to speak, lessons learned.
Statistics show that one in three of all first marriages end up in a divorce. And, 50 percent of second or third ones hits the skids.
By 2020, more than half of all marriages will have such an agreement, as more and more women are climbing up the economic and financial ladder of success.
Big cities like New York and Los Angeles have more prenups because there are more rich people around with stuff to protect. But people who have inheritances, no matter where they live, are signing up, too.
Many legal and financial experts say a prenup is smart financial planning. There are many school of thoughts like:
"Think of it as a business arrangement or as an insurance policy to help remove some of the emotion that’s naturally involved"
"Marriage is not just an emotional and physical union — it’s also a financial union. A prenup and the discussions that go with it can help ensure the financial well-being of the marriage."
A prenuptial accord is a contract entered into by two people prior to marriage or civil union that spells out how assets will be distributed in the event of divorce or death.
Therefore, you may want to seriously consider having a prenup, if you fall into any of the following categories:
** You have assets such as a home, stock or retirement funds
** Own all or part of a business
** You may be receiving an inheritance
** You have children and/or grandchildren from a previous marriage
** One of you is much wealthier than the other
** One of you will be supporting the other through college
** You have loved ones who need to be taken care of, such as elderly parents
** You have or are pursuing a degree or license in a potentially lucrative profession such as medicine
It is no easy way to approach this touchy subject. If you do think a prenup is necessary:
1. Do it as early as possible.
2. Talk it over before the engagement.
3. Honestly discuss the matter.
If you decide to have a prenup agreement, be really candid about why you want the agreement. It’s not very romantic, but you have to appreciate what the other party’s concerns are.

Catch A Cheating Spouse Using Their Cell Phone
By Veronica L
It has never been easier for a cheater to keep in contact with his or her lover, with today`s computers and cell phones. But the good news is it has never been easier to catch a cheating spouse on his/her cell phone either. First of all I am sorry that you have to go through suspecting your spouse cheating on you. That aching gut feeling and sleepless nights, you need to get evidence and find out the truth.
Change in phone behavior - I am sure you have noticed a change in your spouse behavior around the cell phone. Your spouse is probably very secretive around his/her cell phone. Maybe he/she whispers and hangs up when you walk in the room or maybe your spouse does let the caller leave a message if you are around but he/she is very eager to listen to the message. Maybe you have found a suspicious number that shows up on the cell phone over and over again.
How can you catch a cheating spouse cell phone?
Cell phone bill - Check your spouse cell phone bill, this will tell you a lot of information, calls made and received is there a suspicious number that shows up over and over again?
If you have a suspicious number - If you do have a suspicious cell phone number that has shown up or been called over and over again. You do not know whom that number belongs to, what you need to do is use a reverse phone lookup. This way you will find out whom your spouse is calling, where this person lives and other personal information.
If you can get access to the cell phone - Usually a cheater is very protective of their phone. But if you can get access to the cell phone, install a spy phone software. This will tell you exactly what is going on, on your spouse cell phone. Text Messages, records every text message sent or received the sender`s number and the recipient`s number, date and time and the message text. Call monitoring, all numbers dialed, number of received calls, call date and time and more. The best thing is that you can monitor this information from any internet connection.
Catch a cheating spouse, cell phone - You deserve to find out the truth, stop the pain, get the tools you need today!

Is A One Night Stand More Acceptable Than A Long Term Affair?

Is A One Night Stand More Acceptable Than A Long Term Affair?
By Doug Young and Christina Young
Cheating is cheating. However much you dress it up and try to argue your corner, if you’ve cheated in your relationship or marriage and for whatever reason your partner or spouse now knows about it you’ve put a rift between you that is going to take a lot of working out.
‘But I’d had a few drinks, I didn’t really know what I was doing and it didn’t mean anything’ is your argument. ‘It’s not as if I’ll be seeing them again. What’s all the fuss about?’ Funnily enough your partner may not see it that way.
So is a one night stand less of an offence than a long term affair? There is no definitive answer to that because it depends on your individual viewpoint. And it could be that your partner has a different view on it to you.
So often couples have this sort of discussion ‘after the event’. And the ‘event’ doesn’t have to be infidelity. It may be about flirting. One person might be as upset by their partner or spouse flirting with someone of the opposite sex as another would be about their significant other having a one night stand.
Problems so often arise because couples have never shared their views on this sort of thing. They have never set their boundaries which is so important in any relationship.
Have you ever asked your partner or spouse whether they were unfaithful in their previous relationships before they met you? If not why not? If they we’re unfaithful before statistics reveal that they are more likely to do it again than those who’ve never strayed. Don’t you think that it’s something you should know early on in a relationship?
So many problems in a relationship, particularly in the case of infidelity, stem from poor communication. So often we find it’s easier to sweep things under the carpet than discuss them openly, and so often these issues jump out and bite us later on.

Marital Money Pits - Not Your Potion

Marital Money Pits - Not Your Potion
By Francis K Githinji
Many people say that love conquers all but i am finding this phrase questionable since many couples are not enjoying financial harmony in their marriages. Most arguments between partners constitute of marital money pits. According to a recent research, couples fight more about money than even sex or household chores. If you look at it keenly, money is the real source of conflict in many families. It is unfortunate that financial fights point to other problems which lead to major marital crisis. The intimate relationship between couples is affected due the generated hard feelings. Many women will reason like "why should i submit to a man who can’t even provide!" Here is some insight from two experts as to what leads to the dollar spats.
Money matters to most of us because we view it as an indication of how wealthy we are. It has a symbolic nature in our lives as it represents security, power, approval, self worth and social standing. In the research, the respondents were of the view that how much or little money they had controlled their relationships. The most common balance sheet revolves around debt and spending. Our individual perceptions about money can be traced back through our upbringing. As a result of these marital pits can be overcome intellectually but not emotionally. It is always wise to deal with money issues before they reach emotional.
Different styles of dealing with money issues spell different levels of marital money pits. In cases where money conflicts are severe, communication break down was observed to be the problem. Couples who do not talk about money at all and those who talk about it have no idea about how to do it effectively. Not talking about it is a bad habit that ruin your marriage. Money is the source of every evil so people should be ware of it. Many couples do not know how to talk respectively, they will end up fighting or hailing harsh words towards each other. However acquiesce to keep peace is not a better option either. It is a signal that the couple has given up on searching for financial harmony. They relinquish control thinking that it is a loving compromise but it is not.
In order to succeed in putting marital money pits at bay, you have to learn that being business-like in a relationship does not spoil your romance. You should take your marriage as a serious financial partnership as well as a romantic relationship. It is always wise to make strategic plans about your every investment for them to be profitable. As in every business, keep track of foreseeable bumps in the road and deal with marital pits before hand. I believe that dedicated couples should have two meetings in a week to talk about financial matters. Avoid only talking about it when there is a blow out. Your meetings should be brief and interesting. Set the agendas and limit the duration of the conversation to under one hour. This deters any tendency to wander off topic. When you are mentally and physically exhausted a debate about overspending can easily turn into a fight about accusing each other of irresponsibility and selfishness.

Mothers In Law - What You Can Do With Annoying Ones

Mothers In Law - What You Can Do With Annoying Ones
By Shevach Pepper
We have seen them on TV, read about them in books, and even laughed at the situations that these characters get into but there is nothing funny about the situations that arise from annoying mothers in law. In fact, having one such mother in law can actually put a strain on your martial life and ultimately your relationship with your spouse.
There are however, a few things that you can do in order to do your best with this type of mother in law. While some mothers in law behave this way naturally, there are some that are acting this way because of a particular problem.
How to deal with mothers in law’s problems.
• The first thing to do is talk with your spouse. It is possible that your Mother-in-law is exhibiting previously seen behavior. Your spouse will be able to tell you if this is the case and then give you advice regarding how best, from experience, to handle the situation. Try to do this in a way that is not going to result in an argument between you and your spouse.
• Talk to your mother-in-law; more importantly listen to what she has to say. It is quite possible that the issues can be easily taken care of and all it takes is a little patience and the willingness to listen.
• Do not get into an argument with your mother-in-law. It does nothing beneficial and can actually create larger issues. Do not be a push over and allow her to walk all over you but do not go out of your way to make an augmentative situation.
• Find out about something she likes and provide her with the tickets or the item. Check with your spouse or even your Father-in-law to see if this is something that will work in your favor. Some people may consider it a nice gesture while others would see it as an attempt to suck up which could create issues in and of itself.
• Take some time to consider if it is really your mother-in-law that is the issue. Often time’s issues from our own childhood can be impressed or imprinted on others. It is possible that the annoying behaviors are not actually annoying but bring up unpleasant things in your past causing the reaction.
• Consider the possibility that she might actually be attempting to connect with you and it is simply not going in the correct way. This happens when people lack the social and communication skills necessary to present what they want in a way that others will understand. This is why it is important to get to know her; you may find that she is really trying to get along with you.
The most important thing when dealing with difficult people is to take the advice of individuals who have dealt with the situation before. Take the time to listen as well. Communication is the key to understand each other. If there is a break in the communication then there can be no understanding. Remember also to maintain a patient and polite attitude, be respectful it can go a long way into making sure that situations stay under control.

To All Single Women - Do Not Hurry Into Marriages

To All Single Women - Do Not Hurry Into Marriages
By Jerry Heng
Do not hurry love. This is an advice targeted to all single women who are trying to push their romance into marriages.
Many ladies rush into marriages, as if they are in a competition to see who gets there first. However, after marriage, many ladies wonder why they rush into marriage, without having a romantic dating life. They thought that they can still find the same kind of dating romance after marriages, which is not true.
Romance takes on a different stage after marriage, which is completely different from dating romance.
Ladies definitely face the pressure of the biological clock, and thus want to get married fast. They worry about being left on the shelf. However, I do not think that ladies should rush into marriages, just because of the age factor.
Many ladies are already thinking of marriage after a few dates. They are trying to display qualities of a good wife, in front of their potential husbands. A lady tends to forget about her desires in love, and simply go all out to capture the man, as she is afraid that the man may fall in love with another lady. Some even resorted to move in to stay with the man, just after a few dates.
In fact, do not put pressure on yourself to get married. Men do not think the same way. It is unlikely that a man will want to get married, just after a few dates. If you reveal yourself as a needy or desperate lady, a man may get frightened off.
In order to lead an exciting romantic love life, do not just think about marriages. Instead, you can choose to lead a single life in a wonderful way. Enjoy your courtship days. You will end up regretting, if you missed the memorable days of your love life.

Cheating Husband - Where Does The Affair Begin

Cheating Husband - Where Does The Affair Begin
By Molly Laws
Husbands or male partners that cheat are all too common.
Of course secrecy is a big part of cheating and most partners are not going to admit their infidelity so the prevalence of cheating is difficult to measure statistically.
Studies vary, but it is safe to say that there is about a one in four chance that your male partner will cheat on you.
To protect yourself from a cheating husband it is important to understand where an affair is most likely to begin.
If you know where the affair will probably begin you have a better chance of either stopping it before it starts or catching the cheater.
Cheating Often Begins Online
The Internet has become a sort of paradise for men that are actively seeking a sex partner out side of their marriage or relationship.
On the Internet it’s easy for a cheater to conceal his identity and marital status. But hiding the fact that he is married is not really necessary for a husband that is actively looking to have an affair.
There are so-called "dating" sites that specifically cater to married men looking for a sexual partner outside of his marriage.
If you suspect that your partner may be looking to stray you would be wise to familiarize yourself with these types of sites. Just do a search for married man dating service and check the ads that are served.
Workplace Affairs
It doesn’t matter if your husband’s working collar is white or blue he will almost certainly be around other women at his place of work.
He may well spend as many or more of his waking hours with a woman from the office as he does with you. If there is an attraction between them they will have plenty of time to develop intimacy.
Alcohol Fueled Quickies
Social events where the booze is flowing like water can often be the catalyst for infidelity.
After the game beers at the local watering hole, office parties, special occasion or seasonal events like Christmas parties are often fueled by alcohol.
If there has been a spark of attraction prior to the event booze may well allow a smoulder to become a flame. If your partner prefers to go to these kind of occasions without you, be on guard.
Be it a quick romp or a full fledged affair infidelity is a danger to you emotionally, financially and physically. If you suspect that your partner or husband is cheating you owe it to yourself to uncover the truth.

Compatibility for Marriage - Am I Too Young to Get Married?
April 30, 2008
Compatibility for Marriage - Am I Too Young to Get Married?
By Heather Del Villano
Marriage compatibility isn’t just about personality. It is also about maturity.
How old are you? How old is your fiance or fiancee? Are you or they under the age of 25?
There is no magic age to get married. Younger couples and older couples alike can have very happy and successful marriages. However, on average, couples that get married under the age of 25 are significantly more likely to get divorced than their older counterparts. Statistics show the younger you are when you marry, the more likely you are to split up.
After 25, age stops having an impact on your chances of getting divorced.
Why is it that those who marry young have a harder time staying together?
Partly, it is just that people are like fine wines: it takes them years to mature! Wisdom comes with experience and experience takes time. The younger you are, the more likely that you lack some of the emotional development and communications skills needed for a lifetime relationship. There are rare exceptions of course: some are more mature at 16 than others are at 60!
And part of the explanation is probably money. Struggling financially is stressful, for you and your relationship. And the people most likely to be struggling are those who are just starting out in the work world. (Maybe with big student loans on top of it all.)
Also, many younger married couples are tying the knot for the wrong reasons. Perhaps an unplanned pregnancy, perhaps a desire to leave the family home and suddenly seem "grown up", or perhaps it just seems like the right thing to do because you really love the other person. It also might be the case, especially for many younger women, that they are caught up in the fairytale ideal of being a bride and a wife.
If you are under 25 and are getting married, what can you do?
I’d recommend one of the following to give yourselves the best possible chance at success in marriage:
1. Wait a few years before getting married, if possible. If you are in love enough to get married, a year or two shouldn’t matter.
2. Hold off on having children for the first few years. That will give you invaluable time to enjoy yourselves as a couple, before the demands of parenting. Actually, this is good advice for most couples. But the younger you are, the more freedom you have before the biological clock starts ticking.
3. Do some kind of marriage preparation through your church or synagogue, with a counselor, or through an online service. There are also lots of good books on the subject, if you honestly think you’ll read them!
At the very least, ask yourself (and be honest): What is the rush? Am I really getting married for the right reasons? What is the worst that would happen if we didn’t get married right away?
Above all, remember EVERY marriage takes effort and you will get out what you put into it.

Top On The List Of Reasons Why Partners Are Unfaithful

Top On The List Of Reasons Why Partners Are Unfaithful
By Francis K Githinji
No matter how hard a couple tries to restrict itself within the precincts of the relationship, their is still straying. It is really difficult to come across a perfect relationship. Are there genuine reasons why partners are unfaithful? In order to sample diverse sexual experiences, spouses will have varied and different partners. It is a major reason why partners are unfaithful. A married person without a glint of guilt will leave the matrimonial bed and sleep in many different and strange beds. A man is genetically polygamous and sometimes these explains his promiscuity. A couple will stray out of the relationship for more sex. If sex is inadequate in the relationship and either of the couple is feeling short changed, they solicit for sex outside the relationship. Sexual starvation in a relationship is an answer as to why partners are unfaithful. They go foraging for more sex.
Some people just want to stroke their ego and feel good and special. They want to reassure themselves that they are still attractive even after many years of married life. It is strange why partners are unfaithful. Nothing beats the thrill in the chase before a woman submits and yields to a man’s sexual advances. A spouse especially a man is ready to pay any price if only to enjoy and bask in the laurels of the chase. You are still asking why partners are unfaithful? In order to woo, cajole, coarse and convince an unwilling and hesitant damsel into bed. A spouse wants to sabotage the relationship and their is no better way of doing it than cheating. There is no better way of explaining why partners are unfaithful. A spouse who is looking for a genuine avenue in which to quit the relationship.
Opportunistic sex sounds too good a deal to let go. When an enticing opportunity presents itself, all caution is thrown to the wind. A spouse seizes such an opportunity in order to have either one night stand or a quickie. "So long as my partner does not come to know of it", they reason. You want to know why partners are unfaithful? To escape. Escapism from social responsibilities and obligations from the family. A spouse seeks refuge in another person when things are not going very well in the relationship. A woman seeks out a man who can dutifully lend her an ear and listen to her. It is her weakest moment and the man seizes the opportunity.
Revenge is a good reason why partners are unfaithful. A spouse wants to get even with a partner for one varied reason or another. A spouse might feel short changed after the other partner has cheated on him/her. There is no better way of getting even with a sweet revenge than giving the other partner a taste of the same medicine. Sexual addiction is a killer when it comes to cheating. It is a major reason why partners become unfaithful. A sex addict can never find sexual gratification in one partner. A sex addict is a nymphomaniac and the fire in his or her groin is unsatisfiable. A spouse more commonly a man believes they are entitled to sexual exploits. By the mere fact that they are the bread winners in the family, they have a right to enjoy themselves sexually outside the relationship.

Spy Gear - Going Hi-Tech to Catch a Cheating Spouse
April 30, 2008
Spy Gear - Going Hi-Tech to Catch a Cheating Spouse
By C. J. Sunderman
f you suspect that your spouse or significant other is having an affair, chances are your hunch may be right. Statistics show that in the United States 53% of all marriages end in divorce and 41% of married spouses admit to having had an extramarital affair. It is also interesting to note that the percentage of women who would have an affair if they were guaranteed to never be caught is 68%, while 74% of men make the same claim.
So, how do you know for sure that your mate is having an affair? Here are some of the most obvious signs of infidelity to look for:
These are just a few of many telltale signs. If you feel that your spouse is behaving in a suspicious or out-of-character manner, follow your instincts. Your next step is to gather evidence in order to determine if your spouse is really having an affair or not.
Most people automatically think, "I need to hire a private investigator to find out the truth." As a licensed private investigator, I can tell you that hiring a private investigator under such circumstances is NOT an inexpensive thing to do. With hourly fees ranging from $75-150 per hour (plus expenses), hiring a P.I. to conduct an investigation on a cheating partner can get very costly–very fast! In most cases, a P.I. will spend numerous hours just trying to obtain evidence of the illicit liaison. There is a wide variety of hi-tech "do-it-yourself" spy gear products available that will produce the same information, for a fraction of the price . Then, you may want to consider using a licensed investigation agency to run additional background checks or investigative reports on your findings.
You can easily and discreetly purchase a number of surveillance devices in order to confirm or disprove your suspicions. Do keep in mind that you must familiarize yourself and comply with all applicable laws. By no means do we assume responsibility for the use or misuse of any product or service advertised or sold through our agency. If you are unsure of any legality, please consult with an attorney first. That said, you can easily find out what is really going on in your relationship by utilizing the same tools used by professionals. Some of the products available include computer spy software and USB keystroke loggers which monitor emails and online chat activity (these same tools also come in handy to protect your children from online predators). There is something for every situation and budget, including covert cameras , phone call monitoring devices, GPS tracking devices, night vision scopes, car cameras, DVR’s, and much more.
Investigative report services include running background checks, tracing vehicle tags, conducting criminal background checks, phone number tracing, address verification, and much more to help you fill in missing pieces of the puzzle. By purchasing spy gear products tailored to your particular needs, and by running affordable investigative reports to complete your findings when necessary, you can save yourself a great deal of money, find out what is really happening in your relationship, and take the necessary steps to regain your peace of mind.
