Here is another major reason why seduction/pick up no longer works. After the recent ‘disbanding’ of Torontolair.ca, it appears there is lots of confusion. First the founder leaves and starts his own lair for his own commercial purposes:

Fine. But what is the point of this commercial lair in when he gets to pick his own membership and at the same time trying to build up a customer base? Do you trust this kind of so-called ‘guru’? Are you really worthy to be part of his clan? I didn’t think so. This really, does not make any sense. .

Next up, we get the old Torontolair.ca being run by someone else. They want new members but this new lair seems to be driven by an even larger ego driven as compared to Sylvester Stallone. Check out these words:

Trying to commit large amounts of time to two or more lairs does none of these lairs any good. Since participation is the only way a member can really contribute the life of a lair, trying to do so for multiple lairs will simply rob life from them all.
Belonging to multiple lairs creates a breach in security which is not good for any lair because it takes the contributions from one and gives them to another. This is leeching and is not a desirable thing to have in any lair.
Also the mandate of each lair is different. This lair has a singular focus, while a second lair has a broader focus, and at least one other has a commercial focus.
If you post on the forums or attend meetings of other lairs in the city of Toronto, you will be removed from here until further notice. Guest speakers/Gurus will be exempt from this of course for obvious reasons.
(Note: A member is allowed to belong to multiple lairs if they are located in other cities.)

OK. Here is our view. This clearly demonstrates:

1. Seduction/pick up does not work. Period. End of story.
2. Alone trying to apply to the ‘world’s best’ lair has become a joke. You need to be part of a society that is run by little girls who try to feed off their own ego. Do you see any reason to even bother joining this thing? As a former member and if this was truly was the best lair, I still saw very few members getting laid. Actually if any. No one was proclaiming it out of the 30+ attendees each week. If they are the best, I would hate to see any thing ‘less.’ This just makes this whole scene look like a mockery.

P.S. I was once a proud member of the original Torontolair.ca. It all worked out fine with proper guest speakers and quickly learned lots of stuff. It is sad day in how this thing came to these theatrics which destroyed the once precious lair community we were all part of in Toronto No wonder Mystery moved away.
